Install a pixel

Add the Nomow tracking pixel to your website and verify it is firing.

Workspace OwnerAdmin / RevOps Updated May 2026

The Nomow pixel is a lightweight JavaScript tag you paste into any website. Once installed, it records anonymous visits and warms them through the Cold → Intent → Prospect → Lead lifecycle — surfacing high-intent visitors in your CRM before they ever fill in a form.

The pixel manager

Open Pixels from the sidebar. Each connected site appears as a pixel card showing:

  • Status — Active (green), Pending (amber, no ping received yet), or Inactive (gray).
  • Events today — total lifecycle events fired in the last 24 hours.
  • Unique visitors — distinct anonymous sessions today.
  • Copy embed snippet — copies the <script> tag to your clipboard.

If you have no pixels yet, the manager shows an empty state with a New pixel button.

Setup wizard

Create the pixel

Click New pixel. Give it a display name that identifies the site (for example, "Marketing site" or "Docs"). Nomow generates a pixel ID and opens the setup wizard.

Paste the tag

Copy the embed snippet shown in step 1 of the wizard. Paste it inside the <head> of every page on your site — or use your tag manager (Google Tag Manager, Segment, etc.) to deploy it sitewide. The snippet looks like:

<script src="https://app.nomow.ai/nm-tracker.js"
        data-pixel-id="px_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
        async></script>
Verify the ping

Load any page on your site in a browser tab. Return to Nomow and click Verify now in step 2 of the wizard. Nomow polls for an incoming ping from your pixel ID. The step indicator moves to Verified once a ping arrives — usually within a few seconds of the page load.

After verification

Once verified, the pixel card becomes Active. New visits start appearing in Visitor journeys within a few minutes. The pixel fires the following lifecycle events automatically:

EventCondition
coldFirst visit; no prior signal
intentVisitor returns, or scrolls past 60 % of a page
prospectVisitor starts filling a form but does not submit
leadVisitor submits a form and an email is resolved

Next steps

Understand how anonymous visits become CRM contacts in Visitor journeys, and connect your pixel to a landing page in Publishing pages.
